He is the ongoing writer of the Star Trek series, as well as comic book tie-ins Fringe and Transformers. Andres Guinaldo was born in Segovia, Spain, in 1975. He originally studied directing at Madrid University before making the move into comics. His first professional work was drawing Joe R. Landsdale's The Drive-In and By Bizarre Hands. He followed those with Pistolfist: Revolutionary Warrior and other books such as Helios: Under the Gun, Purity and Cartoonapalooza. In 2010, Guinaldo started regularly pencilling Son of Hulk and drew issue #5 of Dark Reign: Hawkeye.
